What is the StarTouch Adapter and Straw Set?

The StarTouch Adapter and Straw Set is the starter kit for turning your existing Pigeon SofTouch Nursing Bottle into a straw cup. Each set includes the adapter, straw, and gravity ball straw. Simply attach the adapter to your 240ml or 330ml SofTouch bottle and your baby can begin practising straw drinking from 6 months. If you'd prefer an all-in-one option, the StarTouch Straw Cup with Gravity Ball comes with its own cup body included.

Which SofTouch Nursing Bottles is the StarTouch adapter compatible with?

The StarTouch adapter is compatible with all Pigeon SofTouch 240ml and 330ml nursing bottles in PP, PPSU, and T-Ester materials. It is not compatible with glass nursing bottles or 160ml bottles. If you need to trim the straw, cut above the lower knob when using a 240ml bottle — no trimming is required for 330ml bottles. Browse compatible bottles in our SofTouch Nursing Bottles range.

What age is the StarTouch Adapter and Straw Set suitable for?

The StarTouch Adapter and Straw Set is suitable for babies aged 6 months and above. Straw drinking from this age encourages tongue tip elevation and natural lip closure, supporting the development of a mature swallow. It's designed to make the transition from bottle feeding feel familiar, since your baby continues using the same SofTouch bottle they already know.

How do I clean the StarTouch Adapter and Straw Set?

Disassemble all parts before washing. The gravity ball straw features a fully sealed, one-piece silicone design that prevents residue from getting trapped in hard-to-reach corners. For a thorough clean of the straw interior, use the Pigeon Straw Brush for Gravity Ball Straw. All parts can be sterilised using steam, microwave, or cold water sterilisation.
