What’s the benefit of choosing the 240ml glass size over smaller sizes?

The 240ml size is suited for babies who are feeding more (larger volumes) or for fewer feed times per day—e.g. older infants. Less frequent refilling, useful for night feeds or for parents who go out and want more capacity. It still shares the same benefits of glass (heat resistance, durability, non-leaching materials).

Does the 240ml glass bottle use the same SS teat, or is it different?

Typically the 240ml bottle may come with a larger flow teat appropriate for older babies— but check the specific bottle’s included teat. As the baby grows, parents are encouraged to use a faster flow (S, M, L, etc.) to keep up with feeding demands.

Is the glass 240ml bottle safe for travel and knocking around?

Glass is more fragile than plastic, so there’s a higher risk if dropped. However, the borosilicate glass used is quite strong and resistant to thermal shock. Use protective sleeves or bottle cases when travelling. Regularly check for chips/cracks.

How to transition between this bottle and breast feeding?

The wide-neck design, latch-on line and gentle curved-shape teat are designed to mimic the breast so that switching between breast and bottle is smoother. Start with the flow appropriate for your baby’s age (e.g. SS → S → M) and observe feeding cues: frustration, gulping or spilling may suggest too fast a flow, while long feeds may suggest too slow.
