> What size bottles do I need for a newborn?
The ideal is to use a bottle size that reflects the amount of milk that the baby drinks. Newborns will have around 100 to 150ml of milk in one sitting, as their stomach is so small, so it is recommended that you use a small bottle.
> How long do you use small baby bottles?
You will use small baby bottles until the time your baby starts to have a bigger amount of milk. As the baby grows he will start to have around 200-250ml per sitting, so the first upgrade should be from a small to a medium baby bottle, which is probably the bottle size that you will use longer.
> When should I change from small to large baby bottles?
You will gradually change the size of the bottles as your baby grows and the milk consumption increases. You should start with 120-160ml for newborns, then upgrade to a medium bottle of 200-250ml, then go to large baby bottles, along with your baby's growing appetite. As every baby is different, there isn’t a certain age for when this should happen.

FAQ'S ABOUT PIGEON'S NEWBORN BOTTLES & TEATS
> What makes Pigeon's small baby bottles unique?
Pigeon's range of small baby bottles are unique in that they offer colic and reflux relief for babies. Featuring a teat with a distinctive venting system, our small baby bottles are designed to minimise the intake of swallowed air, thereby reducing the occurrence of colic and reflux. Since a newborn's digestive system is not yet fully mature, it's common for them to experience colic and reflux when feeding from conventional bottles, as the rapid ingestion of air can cause discomfort and a feeling of fullness in their tummy.
> Can I use either SofTouch and Flexible teats with Pigeon's small baby bottles?
Yes, we offer small baby bottles sizes for both our Flexible and SofTouch teats. This ensures you're able to connect existing teats to your small baby bottles.
> What sizes are Pigeon's small baby bottles?
Small baby bottle sizes go from 120 to 160ml. They are ideal for small babies who drink a small amount of milk. Here at Pigeon, our small baby bottles are available in 160ml.
