> What sizes are medium baby bottles?
Medium size baby bottles are 240ml and are recommended for babies from 3 to 6 months. Here at Pigeon Australia, we offer a range of small, medium and large baby bottles.
> What are the stages of baby bottles?
It is recommended to use a baby bottle size that reflects the amount of milk that the baby drinks, so generally they can be separated into three different stages:
- Small bottles: 120ml to 160ml, for newborns
- Medium bottles: 240ml, recommended for babies 3 to 6 months
- Large bottles: 300ml, recommended for babies 6+ months
> What types of medium baby bottles do Pigeon offer?
At Pigeon you can find medium baby bottles in two different ranges:
- SofTouch: for when the baby is breastfeed and bottle feed. Shop SofTouch baby bottles.
- Flexible: for when the baby is bottle fed only. Shop Flexible baby bottles.
In both ranges, the bottles are available in 4 different materials:
- PP (polypropylene): made from light-weight plastic, these BPA and BPS free bottles are suitable for low to regular use.
- PPSU (polyphenylsulfone): made from medical grade plastic with BPA and BPS free, these naturally honey toned bottles are suitable for high usage.
- Glass: BPA and BPS free, perfect transparency and will last years for unlimited usage. Shop glass baby bottles.
- T-Ester: a new and innovative material, with a clarity similar to glass and a stronger resistance to UV degradation compared to other plastics.
All Pigeon baby bottles come with a teat that features a unique venting system to minimise swallowed air and help reduce colic.
