Newborn Bottles and Teats
Bringing a newborn home comes with a lot of questions, and feeding is usually one of the first. Whether you're breastfeeding and introducing a bottle for the occasional feed, or bottle feeding from the start, getting the bottle and teat right from the beginning makes a real difference to how comfortably and confidently your baby feeds.
Our newborn bottles and teats are designed around the way babies actually feed. The SofTouch wide-neck range features a Peristaltic Plus teat shaped to mimic the natural breast, making it a popular choice for breastfed babies — the SofTouch Glass 160ml and SofTouch PPSU 160ml are two of the most popular starting points. The Flexible slim-neck range suits bottle-fed babies and smaller or premature infants, with the Flexible PPSU 160ml a strong option in that range. Both ranges start with slow-flow teats suited to a newborn's developing sucking reflex — the SofTouch Peristaltic PLUS Teat SS and Flexible Peristaltic Teat S — and include built-in venting to reduce the air your baby swallows during feeds.
Bottles are available in plastic, premium-grade PPSU, and glass, so you can choose the material that works best for your routine. All options are BPA and BPS free.
Not sure where to start? The Baby Bottles and Teats guide walks through the differences between ranges and materials to help you find the right fit for your baby.
